Our Origin & Mission

DeBank was founded by a passionate group of crypto enthusiasts who recognized a critical need: making decentralized finance (DeFi) accessible, transparent, and manageable for everyone. In the early days of DeFi’s explosive growth, we experienced firsthand the challenges of tracking diverse assets, monitoring yield, and assessing risk across multiple blockchains and protocols. Out of this frustration, DeBank was born.

Our mission is simple yet ambitious: to empower crypto users worldwide with a secure, comprehensive, and easy-to-use platform for managing and analyzing their DeFi portfolios. DeBank is driven by a multidisciplinary team of blockchain engineers, data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and DeFi researchers. With years of hands-on experience in smart contract development, protocol analysis, and user experience design, our team brings both technical expertise and a deep understanding of the DeFi landscape.

Lead Blockchain Engineer: Over 7 years in blockchain development, specializing in Ethereum, EVM-compatible chains, and smart contract security audits.
Data Science Lead: PhD in Computer Science with a focus on big data analytics and on-chain data visualization.
DeFi Research Analyst: Former DeFi protocol contributor and published author on decentralized finance trends and risk management.
Cybersecurity Specialist: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with a background in securing decentralized applications.
